Hunted animals
Ojibwe hunted deer, moose, bear, waterfowl and other animals. To hunt they used bows and arrows, wood and bone hooks. They also used snares or a deadfall to trap rabbits, muskrats, otters, mink, martens and beavers for fur and food. Ducks, Geese, or any other type of birds were stewed in a pot. Deer and moose meat were roasted, dried and boiled.
